The AFL has delayed the beginning of Friday night time’s conflict between Richmond and Brisbane due to heavy site visitors.
The spherical 18 match has been moved from the MCG to Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast due to Victoria’s newest COVID-19 lockdown.
It was scheduled to begin at 7.50pm AEST, however has been pushed back to 8.05pm with Richmond arriving on the floor later than deliberate.
The Tigers, who flew from Melbourne to Brisbane on Thursday night time, have been caught in a site visitors after a number of accidents on a significant southeast Queensland motorway.
The Lions left Brisbane earlier and bought to Metricon Stadium with loads of time to spare.
Richmond are combating to maintain their finals hopes alive in Jack Riewoldt’s three hundredth sport, whereas the Lions try to consolidate their spot within the top-four after a shock defeat to St Kilda final week.
